1. Objectives
·
Encourage youth from the Peninsula Chinese Community for
their special achievements in academic and non-academic arena.
2. The Amount and The Number of Awards
·
The amount for the achievement awards depends on the
number of applicants applied. The Scholarship Committee will determine the
amount each year. The Awards will be given in the form of gift certificate
of major bookstores.
3. Procedures for Applications
·
Request application form from PCAA board members or
download directly The Special Achievement Award Form in PDF format.
·
Complete and submit the application form to the address

4. Deadline for Application
·
The deadline is May 31st.
5. Requirement for Consideration for
Scholarship
·
Parents or legal guardians are Peninsula** residents
and active members of PCAA (**: Peninsula is the
region that covers Hampton, Newport News, York County, Poquoson and Williamsburg.)
.
6. Qualification
·
First grader through twelfth grader or any student of
PCAA schools.
·
Special honors through participation in completions in
academic and non-academic areas of talents
7. Condition to
receive the award
·
The attendance of the recipient of this award at the
PCAA Annual Award Ceremony is mandatory except when PCAA board accepts the
excuse and allows family members to accept the award on behalf of the
recipient.
All applications submitted including the essays would
be the property of PCAA. PCAA may choose at it's own discretion to publish
these information on its website or newsletter.
